Official rules
Version 6, effective Oct 16, 2026, 7:00 PM Central, UTC-5
In plain words
Free to enter, no purchase necessary. One entry per person, 18 or older, residents of the 50 states and DC. Each draw shows its prize, who can enter and how many entries it needs; below that, nobody is picked and the draw runs again another day with your entry. Odds depend on the number of entries. In community supporter draws, bonus tickets come only from helping other members, including inviting friends who join and become active members; sharing a link, clicks and visits earn nothing by themselves, and nobody has to share to enter. Public randomness picks the winner, nobody at CartRevolt can choose or change it, and anyone can check it. Winners' display names and handles are published. Practice draws have no prize.

Official rules: CartRevolt draws
- Sponsor. CartRevolt. Each draw page names its prize and retail value. Practice draws award no prize of any value.
- No purchase necessary. Entering is free. Buying anything does not improve your chances.
- Eligibility. Legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 or older, with a verified email address. When a draw's prize is worth more than $5,000, residents of New York, Florida and Rhode Island can't enter that draw; its page says so. CartRevolt staff and anyone affiliated with a sponsor are not eligible.
- Who can enter. Each draw says who can enter before it opens, and it can't change after. Everyone: every eligible member can enter, and every entry has the same chance. Points add nothing. Community supporters: only members with the minimum counted contribution points in the window shown on the draw page can enter. Each supporter gets 1 ticket, plus bonus tickets as rule 5 says, up to the maximum shown.
- How bonus tickets are earned. In community supporter draws, a supporter gets 1 extra ticket for each block of counted points shown on the draw page, up to the maximum. Points count only after a 24-hour check and only for things that help other members:
- a deal you posted that members saved or confirmed;
- answering "Did it work?" after visiting a store through CartRevolt (the same points whatever the answer);
- a report of an expired deal that others or a moderator confirm;
- an answer the person who asked picked, or an explanation members marked helpful;
- telling us whether an invite code you used worked;
- inviting friends who join through your personal invite link and become active members: their account is at least 7 days old, isn't linked to yours, and they used CartRevolt, for example by confirming whether a code worked or coming back on separate days. Sharing a link, a click or a visit earns nothing by itself, and nobody needs to share or invite anyone to enter. Daily limits and a monthly limit on invited friends apply. Points that come from duplicate or linked accounts or other manipulation are removed, and an account's referral points can be held while it is reviewed.
- How to enter. Sign in, confirm your age and state, and tap Enter. One entry per person per draw. Sharing or inviting is never required to enter.
- Entry period. From the opening time to the closing time shown on the draw page, in the time zone shown.
- Odds. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries (in a community supporters draw, the number of tickets) at the close.
- Minimum entries. Each draw shows how many entries it needs. If fewer are made by the close, nobody is picked: the draw is cancelled with that reason, and a new draw with the same prize opens for another day, carrying every entry over, up to the number of times shown on the draw page. If the last one still falls short, it is cancelled and the prize goes to a later draw.
- Selection. The winner and alternates are picked by the public procedure described on the verify page: a commitment published in advance, a frozen list of entries, and a public randomness round. Anyone can recompute the result.
- Claiming. The winner is told by email and in the app and claims within the time shown. If a prize isn't claimed in time, the next alternate in the published order is notified. Nobody draws again.
- Privacy. The published list of entries shows pseudonymous tokens and ticket counts only.
- Winners. CartRevolt publishes each winner's display name and handle with the prize and the date. Nothing else about a winner is published.
- Winner notes. After a prize arrives, CartRevolt may ask the winner for a short note and a photo. Sharing one is optional, and CartRevolt shows it only after review.
- Community builder. Separately from the draws, the CartRevolt team may recognize one member a month as Community builder, chosen by the team from members whose invited friends became active members. It is not random, adds no entries or tickets, and carries no prize unless its own terms are published.
